Esperimento come metodo, spazio, condivisione, mistero.
La visione della Terra come sfera-mondo, la creazione del primo atlante astronomico, della volta celeste e di costellazioni tra cui le Pleiadi, sono tutte da attribuire all’antico mito di Atlas.
La sua storia ci mostra l’indissolubile legame tra la mitologia greca e la nascita dell’astronomia moderna.
Il programma spaziale Atlas ricercò attraverso misurazioni simultanee solari e atmosferiche, su scala globale, le fitte implicazioni dell’impatto dell’uomo sull’ambiente, che ci hanno portato anni dopo al concetto di antropocene, era in cui viviamo oggi. Come in alto così in basso, nella coevoluzione della terra, dell’uomo e del cosmo, tutto è interconnesso.
Gli spazi dell’Angelo Mai ospiteranno per la prima volta l’orbita del programma Atlas di RadioCircolo, un unico flusso dove suono e immagini saranno il veicolo verso una dimensione atemporale, senza barriere né separazioni.
Un’oasi nello spazio, dove l’esperienza diretta è il nostro miglior alleato.

Cielofuturo è l’alias di Francesco Tosini, video artista e grafico nato e cresciuto a Milano. La sua ricerca artistica comprende video, installazioni, performance video, videomapping e grafica.
Servendosi di strumenti analogici e digitali la sua ricerca è basata sulla visualizzazione dell’energia intrinseca nel processo tra crescita organica e materia, creando una cosmologia di forme e movimenti che vive a cavallo fra il mondo virtuale e quello fisico.

The vision of the Earth as a sphere, the creation of the first astronomical atlas, of the celestial vault and of constellations including the Pleiades, are all to be attributed to the ancient myth of Atlas. Its history shows us the indissoluble link between Greek mythology and the birth of modern astronomy.
The Atlas space program sought, through simultaneous solar and atmospheric measurements, on a global scale, the dense implications of the impact of man on the environment, which led us years later to the concept of anthropocene, in which we live today.
As above so below, in the co-evolution of the earth, man and cosmos, everything is interconnected.
The spaces of Angelo Mai will host for the first time the orbit of the Atlas program presented by RadioCircolo, a unified flow where sound and images will be the vehicle towards a timeless dimension, without barriers or separations.
An oasis in space, where direct experience is our most powerful ally.

Cielofuturo is the alias of Francesco Tosini, video artist and graphic designer born and raised in Milan. His artistic research includes videos, installations, video performances, videomapping and graphics.
Using analog and digital tools, his research is based on the visualization of the intrinsic energy in the process between organic growth and matter, creating a cosmology of forms and movements that lives between the virtual and physical worlds.
